Heute war der groβe Tag. Die Koffer wurden geschnappt und ab zum Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld. Mein Partner und auch meine Beste Freundin mit Mann und Kind brachten mich zum Flughafen und warteten bis ich durch die Sicherheit ging.
Erst haben wir alle noch was gegessen und getrunken und schon musste ich durch die Sicherheit um zum Gate zu gelangen.
Viele Tränen sind gefallen, viele letzte Umarmungen und Küsschen. Das letzte Winken und schon stand ich in der Sicherheitszone. Mein Koffer wurde kontrolliert, Wasser im Duty Free gekauft und tadaaaaa da war auch schon das Gate. Am Gate habe ich Martin getroffen und nach etwas Verspätung ging der Flieger schon in die Luft. 3h sind wir nach Malta geflogen und mit Netflix ging die Zeit auch total schnell um.
Als wir dann aus dem Flieger ausgestiegen sind und unsere Koffer holen wollten, waren wir absolut perplex.. WIR standen nur 5 MINUTEN am Rollband und da kamen auch schon unsere Koffer :o Unglaublich, in Berlin wartet man manchmal STUNDEN!
Vor dem Flughafen wurden wir von unserem Transfer in Empfang genommen und zu unserer Wohnung gefahren. In der Wohnung trafen wir auch George unser Vermieter und wir erhielten alle beide unser Zimmer und zufälligerweise auch in der gleichen Wohnung.
Zum Abschluss gingen Martin und ich noch unsere ersten Burger und Pommes in Malta essen, bevor wir dann etwas später auch schon müde ins Bett fielen.

Goodbye Berlin and Hello Malta
Today was the big day. The suitcases were caught and here we go to the airport Berlin-Schoenefeld. My partner and also my best friend, with husband and child, took me to the airport and waited until I went through to the security.
First we all had something to eat & drink and already I had to go through the security to the gate.
Many tears have fallen, many hugs and kisses. The last wave and already I was in the security zone. My suitcase was checked, water bought in Duty Free and tadaaaaa there was already the gate. At the gate I met Martin and after a bit of delay the plane was already in the air. 3 hours we fly to Malta and with Netflix the time was very fast.
When we got out of the plane and wanted to get our bags, we were absolutely perplexed .. We were only 5 MINUTES on the conveyor belt and there were already our suitcases : o Incredible, waiting in Berlin sometimes HOURS!
In front of the airport we were met by our transfer and driven to our apartment. In the apartment we also met George our landlord and we both got our room and coincidentally also in the same apartment.
Finally, Martin and I went to eat our first burgers and fries in Malta, before we fell a bit tired later to bed.
